I recently purchased the HD1000u bundle package. My home theater room isn't completed yet so I've set the projector up in a temporary location to test it out. Wow! Since this is a temporary location, I did not set up the screen and I'm projecting onto a colored, satin-finished wall. Not the best environment by far. Even then, the picture is amazing.
If you're like me and have been toying with the idea for a while, buy this package deal before they run out.
Also, AVmall has wonderful customer service. The sales rep I spoke with named Dave was very helpful. Shipping was quick.

Finally pulled the trigger on the HD1000U after my lamp went in the old projector.........wow! what a difference. Add to it I had a DIY screen, so the screen wthat came with this package makes it even better and was a breeze to set up!

Went and picked this up after seeing it in their showroom. Great quality, even my wife loves it!
Easy to deal with, they gave me the same internet pricing in person.
